3-1/2 c. all-purpose flour

2-1/2 c. sugar

2 t. baking soda

1-1/2 t. salt

1 t. cinnamon

1 t. nutmeg

2 c. canned pumpkin

1 c. corn oil

2/3 c. water

4 eggs

Stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. In another bowl, mix pumpkin, oil and water; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture; pour pumpkin mixture into well. Stir until thoroughly mixed; pour into 2 greased 9"×5" loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Makes 2 loaves.
